JW Bicycle Repair warrants each used bicycle to the original purchaser for 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.

What this warranty covers

If any mechanical component supplied with the bicycle at the time of sale fails during normal, intended use within the 30-day warranty period, JW Bicycle Repair will inspect the bicycle and replace the failed component at no cost for the replacement part or the labor required to install it.

When an identical part is no longer available, the replacement may be a new or serviceable part of comparable type, quality and function.

E-bike coverage

The bicycle’s mechanical components are covered in the same manner as those on a conventional bicycle. Unless expressly identified as covered on the customer’s sales receipt, this warranty does not include an e-bike battery, motor, controller, display, charger, wiring or other electrical component.

Battery capacity, operating range and remaining service life are not guaranteed. Range varies with battery age, temperature, terrain, rider weight, assistance level, tire pressure and riding conditions.

Suspension coverage

Suspension forks and rear shocks are covered for external structural failure during normal use. Routine maintenance, seal or oil service, air-pressure loss, setup, internal wear and major internal fork or shock service are not covered unless expressly identified as covered on the customer’s sales receipt.

What this warranty does not cover

This warranty does not cover damage caused by a crash, impact, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper storage, overloading, water intrusion, unauthorized modification, unauthorized software or firmware, or work performed by another person. Damage caused by a third-party part or service is also excluded.

Punctures, tire cuts, cosmetic damage, theft, corrosion, routine maintenance, normal adjustments and ordinary wear that does not constitute a mechanical failure are not covered.

How to obtain warranty service

Contact JW Bicycle Repair during the 30-day warranty period and return the complete bicycle to the shop for inspection. Covered service must be authorized and performed by JW Bicycle Repair. Transportation to and from the shop is the customer’s responsibility.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
