JW Bicycle Repair accepts returns only when an item sold by the shop is defective.

Defective items

If you believe an item is defective, contact John promptly after discovering the problem. Please provide the item and proof of purchase so it can be inspected.

If the item is confirmed to be defective, JW Bicycle Repair will provide the remedy required by applicable law or the applicable warranty. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement under warranty or a refund to the original payment method.

Damage caused by a crash, accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized modification, normal wear or use contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions is not considered a defect.

No returns for other reasons

Nondefective merchandise is sold as a final sale. Returns are not accepted because of:

• A change of mind or buyer’s remorse
• Ordering or selecting the wrong size, color, model or specification
• Compatibility issues when the customer selected or supplied the part
• Duplicate purchases
• Normal wear
• Damage occurring after purchase that was not caused by a product defect

No exchanges

JW Bicycle Repair does not offer merchandise exchanges.

A replacement provided to resolve a confirmed defect or valid warranty claim is warranty service and is not considered an exchange.

Installed parts and repair services

Parts installed as part of a bicycle repair are covered by the applicable product warranty and JW Bicycle Repair’s written repair or workmanship policies. Labor and completed repair services are not returnable merchandise. If you believe there is a problem with a repair, contact John so the bicycle can be evaluated.

Used bicycles

Any used bicycle sold by JW Bicycle Repair is subject to the separate Used Bicycle Limited Warranty and all rights provided by applicable law.
